This mods works for the Fiat and Lantra cases only.

The proprietary MATX PSU that are installed in the eCases are one of the weakest links in eMachines. But they can be converted to a full sized ATX PSU with a few hand tools and a little work. It's best to remove all components from the case for this procedure.

On top of the case there are 2 "dimples" that must be removed:

I have found that a 1" hole saw works best for this.

Next, the back of the case must be enlarged. A dremel or pneumatic die grinder works good for this operation. Make a template of your new full sized ATX PSU and transfer those lines to the case and let the sparks fly!

It's a tight fit between the back of the CDROM and the front of the PSU, but it does fit.
