These
instructions are for the 'Fiat' and 'Lantra' style
eMachine cases.
As some of you may
know, Emachine computers come from the factory with
"proprietary" motherboards, meaning only the Trigem
style board will fit the case. This can be overcome with
just a few of modifications.
Depending on the
aftermarket motherboard, the 2 small "pins" may have to
be removed, but is highly recommended (see

1)
Secondly, the wiring
for the power on switch must be modified. The blue and
yellow wires are used for the power switch and it
doesn't matter which direction they are installed
because the switch is not polarized. None of the other
wires have to be used, but if you want to use them check
out the schematic for a breakdown on this (see
Pic 2)
Thirdly, depending on
the mobo, the I/O plate will have to be modified as well
(see
Pic 3)
One other thing, if you
want to retain the location of the front USB/game port,
that will have to be modified as well, seeing how none
of the non-OEM mobos have a direct plug in for it.

to see how it fits.
One other thing I did
to this case, was add a
reset switch, but this is strictly optional.
