Powerleap PL-iP3/T 1400C
on the Como-3
Preliminary Findings
Test system:
eTower Trigem Como-III
mobo, Bios V1.12, 64Mb generic SDRAM 100Mhz,
120W PSU, Win98SE
I installed the
PL-iP3/T 1400C in this Como-III mobo fully
expecting that it would not even post. But
after about 8 seconds of power on, it
posted! But that is as good as it gets. I
tried to boot into Windows and it finally
made it but it was EXTREMELY SLOW. It seemed
as if the L2 level cache was not loading,
but this is speculation.
WCPUID reports CPU speed as
935.45Mhz while Aida reports it as 933Mhz.
As time allows I'll try to
figure out why the OS is so slow... |
